ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE (approved at the 11/15/9 General Meeting)

1. Meeting scheduling - We will aim to have one monthly "PHIMG Forum" -- the format is educational and social. Work (planning, etc.) is not conducted. And at least one PHIMG General/Working Meeting will be scheduled per month where we plan events, debate issues, and set strategy.

2. Decisions are made by consensus whenever possible. When a clear consensus can not be reached formal votes will be taken. Members present who have attended 3 meetings in the past year will be empowered to vote.

3. PHIMG Shall have a Steering committee to encourage leadership and accountability.  The SC is empowered to take decisive action in between general meetings. Consists of Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Webmaster, and two at-large members (one that represents a coalition organization). Majority rule. Six month term length. Members can be recalled with 2/3rds vote at a General/Working Meeting.

2. PHIMG resolves to send at least one update per month and will find a resource to coordinate this task. 3.
